Der kleine Michael (Keaton Tetlow) hat eine schwierige Kindheit. Seine Mutter beging Selbstmord und er ist gezwungen, sich mit einer neuen Frau zu arrangieren, die sein Vater ins Haus geholt hat. Sie hat allerdings kein Interesse an der Mutter-Rolle und beschäftigt sich lieber mit Fernsehen und einer merkwürdigen Kosmetikmaske, die sie ständig trägt. Etwas Unheimliches scheint mit ihr eingezogen zu sein und Michael sieht sich plötzlich mit einer bedrohlichen Macht konfrontiert.
