Waisenjunge Jiang wird vom mächtigen Wu-Dang-Clan adoptiert und zu einem herausragenden Schwertkämpfer ausgebildet. Als sich später die Mo-Sekte anschickt, die Macht im Land an sich zu reißen, zählt auch Jiang zu den Helden, von denen sich die Bevölkerung Rettung verspricht. Jiang hat sich jedoch zwischenzeitlich in die schöne Hexe Lian verliebt, die in den Diensten der Mo-Sekte steht. Hin- und hergerissen zwischen Loyalität und Liebe begeht Jiang nur noch Fehler und verliert schließlich sowohl seinen Clan als auch die Geliebte.
The sensitive swordsman Cho Yi-Hang is tired of his life.
