Der 11-jährige Daniel, der seiner Mutter gegenüber schüchtern ist, tut alles, um nicht mit ihr in der Öffentlichkeit aufzutreten. Eines Tages trifft er einen ungewöhnlichen Jungen, der seine Einstellung zur Welt ändert.
