Mike, ein mutterloser Junge, und seine ältere Schwester Sandra müssen in eine große Stadt ziehen, als der landwirtschaftliche Betrieb ihres Vaters scheitert, und sie sind nicht glücklich darüber. Fast unmittelbar vor ihrer Haustür werden sie in einen großen Juwelendiebstahl verwickelt. Ursprünglich handelte es sich um eine achtteilige Kinderfernsehserie namens „Steel Riders“, die in Neuseeland produziert wurde.
A mother-less boy, Mike, and his older sister, Sandra, are forced to move to a big town when their father's farming enterprise fails, and they are not happy about it.
