In den 1970er Jahren nimmt ein ausländischer Schmuggler Geiseln und droht, ein Flusspumpwerk zu sabotieren, wenn er bei seinem Versuch, antike Artefakte aus Rumänien zu schmuggeln, keine Hilfe erhält. Zwei einheimische Jungen vereiteln seine Pläne und riskieren dabei ihr eigenes Leben. Währenddessen kämpft die Polizei gegen die Zeit, um den Schmuggler zu fassen, bevor er mit seiner Beute über die internationale Grenze aus Rumänien fliehen kann.
During the 1970s a foreign smuggler is taking hostages and threatening to sabotage a river pumping station if he is not aided in his attempt to smuggle ancient artifacts out of Romania.Two young local boys foil his plans at the risk of their own lives.Meanwhile the police is racing against time to apprehend the smuggler before he can escape from Romania across the international border with his loot.
