Der elfjährige Lucas liebt seinen Vater innig. Nach dem Tod seiner Mutter dreht sich sein Leben nun um Christian. Er ist extrem eifersüchtig auf die neue Freundin seines Vaters, Katarina, eine Gerichtsvollzieherin. Plötzlich ereignet sich ein Schicksalsschlag: Christian wird des Mordes an seinem Geschäftspartner beschuldigt, ein Verbrechen, das er nicht begangen hat. Katarina versucht Christian zu helfen, doch ihr persönliches und berufliches Verhältnis steht im Clinch. Christians einzige Hoffnung ist sein Sohn Lucas; nur er kann seinen Vater retten.
Eleven-year-old Lukas (Ivo Möller) is the only one who believes in the innocence of his father Christian (Helmut Zierl), who is suspected of murdering his business partner. He does everything possible to clear his father's name, but of course it is not easy for such a boy.
