Ein Remake der Komödie von 1976. Billy Bob Thornton, der uns kürzlich gezeigt hat, was für ein „böser Weihnachtsmann“ er sein kann, spielt nun eine weitaus weniger beeindruckende Rolle – einen trinkfesten, ruppigen Trainer (ein ehemaliger Profi-Baseballspieler), der gezwungen wird, eine Jugendmannschaft zu trainieren. Das Ziel: der Sieg über ihre langjährigen Rivalen, die Yankees, angeführt von einem professionellen Trainer.
A remake of the 1976 comedy. Billy Bob Thornton, who recently showed us just how much of a "bad Santa" he can be, now stars in a far less impressive role – a hard-drinking, abrasive coach (a former professional baseball player) forced to coach a teenage team. The goal: victory over their longtime rivals, the Yankees, led by a professional coach.
