Er erzählt die Geschichte von Rangi (Morrison) und drei Freunden, die in der Nähe ihrer abgelegenen Farm in den Marlborough Sounds Abenteuer erleben. Zwei Räuber (Mune und Michael Woolf) tauchen auf, um Lebensmittel zu stehlen, und schon beginnt eine Verfolgungsjagd zwischen den Ganoven und den Kindern bis nach Rotorua.
Starring a 13-year-old Temuera Morrison in his first screen appearance, and a young Ian Mune, this 1973 feature was originally funded in the UK as an eight-part TV series. The film follows Rangi (Morrison) and three friends as they embark on adventures near their remote Marlborough Sounds farm. Two robbers (Mune and Michael Woolf) turn up to steal food and the scene is set for the crims and kids to chase each other all the way to Rotorua.
