Es waren einmal zwei Brüder auf einem kleinen Lastkahn: der 25-jährige Julian und der 12-jährige Louis. Manchmal begingen sie kleinere Verbrechen. Eines Tages boten ihnen Antiquitätenhändler an, das berühmte Gemälde „Blondine mit nackter Brust“ von Edouard Manet aus dem Musée d'Orsay zu stehlen. Im Museum trafen die Brüder die Tochter des Hausmeisters, Rosalie, ein edles und ehrliches Mädchen, und beide verliebten sich in sie. Werden sie nun in der Lage sein, ein Verbrechen zu begehen?
Two brothers, Julien, 25, and Louis, 12. They work and live on a barge in the heart of Paris. They haul gravel and make ends meet by petty theft. They have grown up alone, close to each other, on the water. A Slavic fence offers them the chance to steal a Manet painting, “La blonde aux seins nus”, on display at the Musée d`Orsay. Louis, in charge of the theft, succeeds in the essential and brings the priceless painting back to the barge. But the museum janitor, Rosalie, a beautiful girl by nature, has followed him. They quarrel. The brothers kidnap her in the hold of the boat and have their way with her. A three-way escapade on the loops of the Seine. In Joinville le Pont, the adventure takes a strange turn when Rosalie emerges from her hiding place and offers her captors an unexpected deal...
