Klassischer Horror. Sommer 1935. Die neunjährigen Zwillinge Niles und Holland Perry leben auf einer Farm in Connecticut. Ihre Großmutter Ada zeigte ihnen etwas, das sie „das Spiel“ nannte. Danach ereignen sich in der Gegend immer mehr Unfälle. Niles glaubt, dass sein Bruder Holland dahintersteckt. Doch nur seine Großmutter weiß, was wirklich vor sich geht. Und nur sie kann dieses schreckliche Mordspiel stoppen.
