Bald kehrt er ohne Geld und ohne Stamm zurück. Kollegen warten gespannt auf seinen Bericht und den Film, auf dem der Wissenschaftler die mysteriösen Bewohner des Dschungels festhält. Als der findige Professor erkennt, dass der Betrug bald auffliegt, baut er primitive Hütten im Hinterhof seines Hauses und siedelt dort die widerspenstigsten Wilden an – seine eigenen Kinder!
Anthropology professor James Krippendorff receives $100,000 for his research and goes to New Guinea to find the last tribe of savages on the globe. He soon returns without money and without a tribe. Colleagues eagerly await his report and the film on which the scientist captured the mysterious inhabitants of the jungle. Realizing that the deception is about to be revealed, the resourceful professor builds primitive huts in the backyard of his house and settles the most unruly savages there - his own children!
