Es ist Sommer und Sune Anderssons Familie plant einen Urlaub in Griechenland. Sunes Vater Rudolf ist sauer, weil er dann nicht mehr an seinem geliebten Angelausflug teilnehmen kann. Doch als er sieht, wie viel der Griechenland-Ausflug kosten wird, kommt er auf eine tolle Idee: Lasst uns stattdessen einen Campingausflug machen. Während dieser Reise passiert viel, und nach einiger Zeit stellt Rudolf fest, dass der Campingausflug vielleicht doch nicht so günstig ist, wie er dachte.
It's summer and Sune Anderssons family is planning a holiday in Greece. Sunes father, Rudolf is sulking because then he won't be able to go on his beloved fishing trip. But after seeing how much the Greek trip is going to cost, he comes up with a great idea: Let's go on a camping trip instead. A lot is happens during this trip and after a while Rudolf discovers that the camping trip might not be as cheap as he thought.
