Der zehnjährige Stéphane lebt allein mit seiner Mutter. Eines Tages wird er entführt und erwacht in einer Klinik. Dort stellt sich ihm ein Mann als sein Vater vor und behauptet, Christophe zu heißen. Tatsächlich ist er ein Klon von Christophe, der im Alter von zehn Jahren starb. Sein Vater, ein angesehener Wissenschaftler, hat sich der Sekte der Marelier angeschlossen, um das Klonexperiment zu wiederholen.
Ten-year-old Stéphane lives alone with his mother. One day, he is kidnapped and wakes up in a clinic where a man tells him he is his father and where he is called Christophe. He is in fact a clone of Christophe, who died at the age of 10, and his father, a renowned scientist, has joined the ranks of the Marelians sect to try to replicate the cloning experiment.
