Patri (Natalia Oreiro) lebt in Scheidung von ihrem Ex-Mann und zieht den gemeinsamen 13-jährigen Sohn Rami (Milo Zeus) bei sich auf. Als der Teenager die Kontrollsucht und die herrische Art seiner Mutter irgendwann nicht mehr erträgt, beschließt er, direkt nach der Teilnahme an einem Sommercamp künftig bei seinem Vater zu leben. Als Patri einmal wieder ohne sein Wissen Ramis Handy überprüft, stößt sie per Zufall auf dessen Vorhaben. Ansprechen kann sie das Ganze aber natürlich nicht, denn das würde ihre Lage nur noch schlimmer machen. Stattdessen ergreift sie die Gunst der Stunde, als die Busfahrer, die für den Campingausflug gebucht waren, kurzfristig ausfallen: Sie bietet sich zur Freude von Ramis Freundinnen und Freunden selbst als Ersatz an und will auch gleich im Camp bleiben, um als coole Mama das Herz ihres Sohnes zurückzugewinnen.

Patri (Natalia Oreiro) is in the process of divorcing her ex-husband and is raising their 13-year-old son, Rami (Milo Zeus), on her own. When the teenager can no longer endure his mother's controlling nature and domineering ways, he decides that after attending a summer camp, he will move in with his father. One day, Patri checks Rami's phone without his knowledge and accidentally discovers his plan. Confronting him about it is not an option, as it would only worsen her situation. Instead, she seizes the opportunity when the bus drivers booked for the camping trip cancel at the last minute: she volunteers to the delight of Rami's friends to take their place and plans to stay at the camp herself, hoping to win back her son's heart by being the "cool mom."
