The story centers on a young family who moved into a new apartment on the outskirts of the city. The nanny they hired for their newborn daughter quickly gained her trust. However, the eldest son, Yegor, reports the woman's frightening behavior, but his parents don't believe him. Surveillance cameras, installed by his father to reassure them, only confirm that all is well. Then one day, Yegor returns home to find no trace of either the nanny or his little sister, and his parents are in a strange trance, unable to even remember having a daughter. Then Yegor and his friends set out on a search, which reveals that the nanny is an ancient Slavic demon.
Die Geschichte dreht sich um eine junge Familie, die in eine neue Wohnung am Stadtrand zieht. Das Kindermädchen, das sie für ihre neugeborene Tochter engagieren, gewinnt schnell ihr Vertrauen. Doch der älteste Sohn, Jegor, berichtet von dem unheimlichen Verhalten der Frau, aber seine Eltern glauben ihm nicht. Überwachungskameras, die sein Vater installiert hat, bestätigen lediglich, dass alles in Ordnung ist. Eines Tages kehrt Jegor nach Hause zurück und findet weder das Kindermädchen noch seine kleine Schwester vor. Seine Eltern befinden sich in einer seltsamen Trance und können sich nicht einmal mehr daran erinnern, eine Tochter gehabt zu haben. Daraufhin begeben sich Jegor und seine Freunde auf die Suche und entdecken dabei, dass das Kindermädchen ein uralter slawischer Dämon ist.
